Six years ago, Paul Malysa and I approached John at the Moonshine Cafe about hosting Songwriter Nights since NSAI were no longer doing them. We wanted to provide songwriters with opportunities to play their original tunes and introduce audiences to this very cool Nashville style format. These kinds of shows have taken off in a big way the past few years, giving more and more performers the chance to get their songs out there.
